Sock Museum

These socks use one of the oldest lace patterns in knitting. Feather and Fan (or Old Shale, depending on who you ask) is a tried and true lace pattern that turns up over and over again. This pattern is a wonderful example, looks really lovely no matter what the yarn, and has been knit many, many times.
